Tilly - Costume.

Here's the costume I've put together based on my design sketches. I'm hoping to find a brighter tshirt before the performance, but I think I've definately captured Tilly's personality. And yes I really did enjoy climbing trees for these photos!

Costume Mayhem!

Ok, I'm upset. Again I've just managed to think up some initial costume ideas for Tommy and Tilly (the children) and again I've run out of time to make them. So now I won't achieve my arts award aim which is highly annoying! Anyhow, above are a few sketches.

I apologise for not blogging lately, I've been ill with a very sore throat and could hardly eat. Not so fun. Anyway here's some photos taken during rehearsals, as you can see we're really enjoying ourselves!

'Tales From the River'

Okk, so this is the plot behind our piece of drama as of now:

• A little boy and girl live by the river.
• One day they meet a water troll.
• The troll threatens to pollute their river if the children cannot answer his riddles.
• The children have to go back in time (causing chaos and changing historical events) to find the answers to his riddles.
• With the help of the audience, the children save the day
• The End.

I now intend to design the costumes only for the two children, as I have very little time before the performance and I think this is an achievable aim!
